hello guys..

i wanted to post yday but i was too tired. hahas. so yepps.

first and foremost, a job well done to all competitors! you guys are all champions of the club. rmb.. it's the process which matters most.. although we dropped in terms of position.. it really makes me feel so proud and happy to be part of a team which has been so motivated, with a never say die attitude and determined to achieve. and i dare say that yday's performance for most teams and individuals were one of the best throughout our training season. so yeah, i'm really proud of you guys. congratulations to all (:

to the ip and j1 competitors, first experiences will always leave the most impact on people. so well.. to the 16 j1s and 2 ip kids, i'm sure this experience will help you guys achieve more next year.

and the other j1 supporters of cos, i want to apologise for neglecting you guys a little along the way, but thank you so much for the support you have shown to the team of competitors and helped them along the way.

to the j2 competitors, it has been a total of 4 competitions we've gone through together with varied outcomes.. and it's been a really enjoyable journey with you guys, and despite the many obstacles we have faced, we have come this far. i want to thank each and every one of you for having faith in me and my exco, as well as for being supportive and motivated to train hard and contribute to the team in one way or another. you guys never fail to inspire me to work harder and push me further to achieve more for the team.

to marcus, sir (if he ever reads this, hahas) and the seniors, we would never have come so far if not for you guys. thanks for laying the foundation for us, for believing in us, for entrusting us with the numerous decisions, for supporting us throughout our entire journey with the team. really really honoured to have you guys as part of vjtkd, cos you guys have truly made a difference. your presence on the day of comps really boosted our morale. like i said, no matter what, even if tears have been shed, i know we will come back strong, and you guys have my promise, that i will continue guiding the juniors in any way possible even after stepping down. cos vjtkd really means this much to me. and and not forgetting mr chong who has endured with our numerous requests like for mats etc. without you guys, vjtkd wouldnt be what it is today.

and well.. since comps are over.. it marks the stepping down of j2s. and i would like to "say" my thank you speech... cant do it face to face lah later i cry. hahas.

i stepped into vjtkd as a totally blur j1, later than most ppl.. even the welfairy said he din know my existence. hahas. and i'm really really glad to have the seniors and sir around to help me fit in and polish my tkd all over again.. (cos i stopped for 5years) and i would describe my journey with my team, each and every single one of you, both my beloved seniors and juniors, as the most fun-filled and fulfiiling one in my life. i wouldnt say it was smooth sailing, cos there were definitely ups and downs, and disagreements here and there, but i'm really really glad that i've made it through till today. and this definitely wouldnt be possible without all of you, esp my exco. but i first thank the senior exco for entrusting the entire club in my hands and for believing in me.

to my dear exco 0809: my journey in tkd wouldnt have been so special and successful without each and every one of you. we're all different in many ways, but somehow it's just like sugar spice and everything.. plus a little chemical x. times spent together planning for events, meetings online where we never get anywhere, morning breakfast meetings at macs, random outings, after training meetings, etc. thanks for sacrificing your precious time, and enduring with my nagginess. you guys have brought joy and laughter to my life and added colour to it. you never fail to back me up and support me when i fall, and even so.. you guys are ever so ready to help and complement each other, which really reminds me to give my all to the team. thank you so much(: remember what we promised sir at kemb tdy alright, we will go back and help the juniors and train with them.. promises are made to be kept (:

to my batchmates and juniors: thanks for bearing with my crappiness and naggings.you guys have made training so enjoyable. esp our captain's ball sessions. hahas. i think i go super high playing captain's ball.. thanks for supporting the exco, thanks for believing in us, thanks for putting in the effort to train and prepare for comps. like i said, all for one, one for all (:

and and i really really salute sir for his support and commitment to the team, the constant guidance and encouragement and valuable feedback. i remember, i was really really scared of him at first. cos i had to do non contact sparring with him during my first training. hahas. but he proved me wrong, he's such a respectable, fatherly figure to all of us, dont you just have to agree? say yes now!

so yeah, bottom line, i thank all of you for making my tkd journey this wonderful, for making my job as captain so memorable and fulfilling, for allowing me to be part of your tkd life in vj.. i'll miss you guys..
